I learned it carrying responsibility early, navigating systems that weren’t built for me, and choosing excellence long before anyone was watching. I was born in Kenya, immigrated to the United States, and began my career as a housekeeper at Walt Disney World — not knowing that every role I stepped into was training me to lead.
Over the years, I’ve worked across corporate leadership, real estate, nonprofit work, and executive advisory spaces. What I’ve learned is this:
Leadership isn’t about how high you climb.
It’s about who you become along the way — and who you bring with you.
That belief sits at the center of everything I do.

For years, I watched high-achieving people quietly struggle with the same tension I felt myself.
We were winning. We were achieving.
But somewhere along the way, we stopped breathing.
Breathless is my invitation to pause, reflect, and realign. It’s a book about leadership, resilience, faith, and identity — written for people who are tired of chasing success and ready to build significance instead.
This book is not about perfection. It’s about formation.
It’s about understanding that the very things that challenged you most may be the same things qualifying you to lead.

What Happens When You Stop Chasing Success and Start Building Significance
In Breathless, I walk through lessons shaped by real life, not theory.
In Breathless, you’ll learn how to:
Stop chasing success and start building significance
Reframe hardship as leadership training, not limitation
Lead with excellence rooted in identity — not exhaustion
Carry responsibility without losing yourself in the process
Build a legacy that extends beyond titles, roles, and recognition
Each chapter is designed to meet you where you are, while gently challenging you to grow beyond it.
A companion workbook is coming soon to help you integrate these lessons into your daily leadership practice.

Many people first meet me through Breathless.
Some read it quietly, underline passages, and sit with the questions it raises. Others reach out because the book put language to something they couldn’t quite name.
For some, the book is enough.
For others, it becomes the beginning.
The leadership work I do — coaching, consulting, speaking, and advisory — is a natural extension of the philosophy behind Breathless. It’s where reflection turns into action, and insight turns into sustainable change.
There is no pressure to “upgrade.”
Only an invitation to go deeper, if and when it’s right.

I currently partner with people and organizations through:
Private leadership coaching
Executive and organizational consulting
Keynote speaking and facilitated conversations
Strategic advisory and mentorship
I work best with leaders who are thoughtful, committed, and ready to do the internal work that supports external excellence.
My goal is not to motivate you for a moment — it’s to help you lead well for the long term.
I’ve had the privilege of working with leaders across corporate, nonprofit, and global spaces.
When leadership is tested, Oglah shows exactly what it means to put people first. And that was powerfully affirmed when she was recognized as a top Keller Williams culture leader in 2025; it was an honor that highlighted the selfless, decisive actions she took to protect the agents of her brokerage. Growth-minded, day in and day out, she models what it means to lead with both heart and results. Any organization is better for having her at the helm.
Oglah’s story of perseverance and reinvention is deeply inspiring, and it is her purposeful evolution as a leader that truly sets her apart. She is authentic, impactful, and above all, transformative. Oglah possesses an uncanny ability to build high-performing teams from the most unlikely partnerships, finding synergy where others see friction. Her talent for bringing out the absolute best in those she leads is a testament to her deep people intuition and mastery of emotional intelligence.
Oglah is a masterful leader who embraces the quintessential fundamentals of communication and empathy leading her to achieve insurmountable success wherever her career takes her. I've been fortunate to work under Oglah's guidance both at the Gaylord Palms and and at Keller Williams and stand personal witness to her abilities to manage, team build, and motivate. To this day through out all of my experience I have never met another Senior Executive with her ability to build high functioning teams that operate as a community.
