MY STORY

"I Am Proof That Where You Start Doesn't Determine Where You Finish"

Twenty years ago, I was cleaning hotel rooms at Walt Disney World as part of their international college program. I was thousands of miles from my hometown in Kenya, learning to navigate a new country, a new language, and a corporate world that wasn't built for someone who looked like me.

Today, I own a multi-million-dollar real estate franchise with 160+ agents representing over 30 countries. I've pioneered Keller Williams Español, serving the fastest-growing segment of American entrepreneurs. I've created Oglah's Hope Foundation, transforming lives in Kenya and across the globe. And I've received Keller Williams' highest honor for cultural excellence and humanitarian impact.

But the journey wasn't linear. It was messy, terrifying, and full of moments when I almost gave up.

I've been passed over for promotions because of my accent.
I've been the only Black woman in corporate leadership rooms.
I've wrestled with impostor syndrome while managing billions in revenue.
I've left the security of a corporate salary to bet on myself in my 40s.

And through it all, I've learned this truth:
